A concise overview of my research, projects and publication profiles.

My research asks a distributional question:

When governments set national agricultural, climate and land-use targets, which farms, production systems and places actually carry the adjustment?

I use spatial, economic and behavioural modelling to connect national pathways with the local realities through which they must be implemented.

Current work

GOBLIN-Spatial
Spatial foresight for where nationally coherent agricultural transitions fall across Ireland and whether future land-use requirements can fit.

BioLand-US
A U.S. implementation model examining how compatible land and voluntary contractual access constrain prospective perennial-biomass mobilisation.

IFT-BioSim
A farm-level framework for studying heterogeneous opportunity costs, participation and the distribution of transition costs.

Methods

My work uses econometrics, spatial modelling, optimisation, synthetic populations and microsimulation, implemented mainly in Python, R, Stata, GIS and SQL.
